Spring is Coming!

Wanted to bring in the blooming colors of spring and the feel of the season straight up in a cocktail glass.

The Cocktail: Spring is Coming!

Ingredients:

- Tequila

- 6-7 Raisins

- 2-3 Strawberries

- Dried Ginger Powder

- Sun Dried Lemon slice

- Crushed Ice

- A random twig from a spring tree

Recipe:

1. Add raisins, strawberries, dried ginger powder and salt in a shaker and mash it together well with a muddler.

2. Add tequila and crushed ice in the shaker and shake well.

3. Drain in a Martini glass and garnish with sun dried lemon slice and the spring twig.

On a side note, this cocktail was supposed to get a pink-ish color (which would have been more spring-y), but the dried ginger powder makes it more of a peachy colored. Nevertheless, the ginger powder makes it taste better, so its okay.
